Authority
Information is collected under the authority of State 48 Veterans Association's mission to provide charitable assistance to veterans and their families, and as necessary to process assistance requests, verify eligibility, and communicate with applicants.
Purpose
The information you provide, including contact details, military service information, and supporting documentation, is used to:
- Review and process your request for assistance
- Verify veteran status and eligibility for programs
- Contact you regarding your request
- Maintain records required for accountability, reporting, and program administration
Routine uses
Your information may be disclosed to authorized State 48 Veterans Association staff and volunteers who require access to perform their duties in reviewing assistance requests. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, such as in response to a lawful court order or to prevent fraud.
We do not sell your personal information. Uploaded documents are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized personnel.
Voluntary disclosure

Assistance request records are retained only as long as needed to process your request, meet reporting obligations, and maintain program records in accordance with State 48 Veterans Association policies.
